If you’ve never worked with a Disney travel advisor before, you’re not alone.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that we’re simply here to book your vacation. While I absolutely handle the booking process, that’s just a small part of what I do.
My goal is to make your Disney vacation easier, less stressful, and personalized to your family from start to finish.
Here are some of the questions I get asked most often.
Does it cost extra to use a Disney travel advisor?
Usually not. My planning services are complimentary in most cases, I’m paid a commission by Disney, not by you. I also handle reservation transfers and planning-only services. Here’s exactly how it breaks down:
- Resort + ticket package — no fee
- Resort-only stay — no fee
- Tickets, 3 days or more — no fee
- Special event tickets (MVMCP, MNSSHP, etc.) — no fee
- Tickets, 2 days or less — $150 planning fee
- Reservation transfer (moving an existing booking to me) — no fee
- Planning-only services (no booking) — fee based on group size and trip length
Either way, you get personalized planning and support, I just want you to know upfront exactly what to expect.
Why wouldn’t I just book directly with Disney?
You absolutely can book directly with Disney.
The difference is what happens after you book.
When you work with me, you don’t just receive a confirmation email, you have someone helping you make informed decisions throughout the planning process.
I help clients:
- Compare Disney Resort hotels
- Choose the right ticket options
- Decide whether upgrades like Lightning Lane or Memory Maker are worth it
- Build a personalized park strategy
- Monitor promotions that may apply to their reservation
- Answer questions before, during, and after their vacation
Booking is easy. Planning well is where the real value comes in.
What happens after I fill out your planning form?
Once I receive your planning form, I’ll review everything you’ve shared, including your travel dates, budget, priorities, and vacation goals.
From there, I’ll research options that fit your family and send you personalized recommendations.
We’ll work together to narrow down the best choice before anything is booked.
Throughout the process, I’m here to answer questions and help you feel confident in every decision.
Will you help me choose the right resort, tickets, and upgrades?
Absolutely!
Every family vacations differently, so I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all recommendations.
Whether you’re deciding between Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resorts, wondering if Park Hopper is worth it, or trying to decide if Memory Maker makes sense, I’ll walk you through the pros and cons based on your family’s priorities, not generic advice.
Sometimes I recommend upgrades. Sometimes I recommend skipping them. My goal is to help you get the best value for your vacation.
Do you help with park planning?
Yes, and this is one of my favorite parts of the planning process.
Your itinerary shouldn’t be based on a generic blog post or a copy-and-paste schedule.
When I help clients build a park strategy, I consider things like:
- Your travel dates
- Park hours
- Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours
- Special events and party nights
- Attraction refurbishments
- Dining reservations
- Your family’s ages, interests, and priorities
Because the best itinerary is the one that’s built specifically for your trip.
What if I have questions after I book?
I’m still here!
Whether you have questions about dining reservations, Lightning Lane, packing, transportation, or something unexpected comes up before or during your trip, you’ll have someone to reach out to.
You’re never left to figure everything out on your own.
Why should I book with you instead of another Disney travel advisor?
There are a lot of great Disney travel advisors, so this is a fair question.
For me, it comes down to two things: personalized planning and exceptional service.
Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent my career supporting C-suite executives as an Executive Assistant. My job was to stay organized, communicate proactively, respond quickly, and anticipate needs before they became problems.
I bring that same level of service to every vacation I plan. When you work with me, you can expect:
- Quick responses to your questions
- Clear, proactive communication
- Personalized recommendations tailored to your family
- An organized, stress-free planning experience
- Someone who genuinely enjoys taking the details off your plate
My goal is simple: leave the planning to me so you can focus on making memories with the people you love.
